UP Presidential Debate (Feb 8, 2010)

As a supporter, i was overwhelmed by the support shown by various groups during the Inquirer-organized Presidential debate at the UP Theatre. Their massive presence shadowed recent smear attacks thrown by Sen. Villar's detractors. The enthusiasm can be felt through their eyes and instantly erased my doubt that they are paid participants (hakot). The throng of orange supporters is composed of individuals representing every demographic i can think about. What i admire most is the perceived civility from the crowd. This observation was a reinforcement of the carpark scene wherein most if not all of the good parking spots were taken by vehicles with orange check stickers stuck. Supporters were so driven that they showed up as early as 3 hours prior to the start of the debate. Here are few of the pictures taken before i decided to leave the venue and report for work.
